Licence terms

Licence terms for paid MDH software.

1. Applicability

These licence terms supplement the general terms for paid MDH Group software, particularly MDH Dynamic QR WordPress PREMIUM and MDH Dynamic QR Self-Hosted.

2. Licensing model

Paid use is based on the selected monthly or annual subscription. The licence is active for the successfully paid billing period and renews for the booked interval following successful payment.

WordPress FREE is provided separately free of charge through WordPress.org and requires no paid licence key.

3. Activation and licence verification

A paid licence is activated using the personal licence key and identification details required by the product. For self-hosted software, these include the customer's email, domain and technical instance ID.

Licence keys, product, edition, customer email, domain, instance ID, activation status and technical verification data may be sent to MDH Group's licence server to verify entitlement.

4. Domain and instance binding

Unless expressly stated otherwise, one licence covers one website or self-hosted installation. The licence server may bind it to the domain and instance ID.

A legitimate domain or server change may require the previous binding to be released or reset. Parallel use of one single licence on multiple independent production installations is not permitted.

5. Edition scope

In MDH Dynamic QR Self-Hosted, the BASIS, PRO or AGENTUR licence edition controls the enabled features of the shared software core.

Changing editions may enable or hide additional features. Hiding higher-tier features does not automatically delete stored data.

6. Right of use

The customer receives a simple, non-exclusive, non-transferable right of use limited to the agreed licence scope.

In particular, public provision or redistribution of the installation package or licence key, bypassing or removing licence mechanisms, sublicensing and use beyond the agreed number of websites or installations are prohibited. Mandatory statutory permissions remain unaffected.

7. Term, cancellation and expiry

The licence stays active until the end of the last successfully paid billing period. Cancellation effective at term ends automatic renewal, not the already paid period.

After expiry, licensed features, updates, downloads or online licence checks may be restricted. Local customer data is not automatically deleted solely because the licence expires.

8. Updates

Updates are provided under an active licence where offered for the product. Specific new features are not owed unless expressly promised.

9. Self-hosted data and responsibility

Business application data in a self-hosted installation, such as QR codes, media, users, projects, campaigns, tenants and statistics, is generally held in the installation operated by the customer.

Licence verification is separate and processes only the licence and installation metadata required for licence administration.

10. Protective measures

The customer must keep licence keys and administrator credentials confidential and provide suitable technical safeguards and regular backups.
